A curation by Juliana Angulo, Art Historian, Curator, and Advisor at FAREX & Singulart - These contemporary photographs depict life from multifaceted angles: Everyday scenes become imaginary worlds that open paths to concept and symbolism. While thematically and stylistically diverse, all images are intertwined by their predominant blue palette and unconventional visions of reality. From stuffed animals hanging by a cord to reversed silhouettes, flower-filled vehicles, or endless rows of boats, distinctive aspects of humanity are captured through a fresh lens. Familiar motifs in unexpected places transform their meaning, while zoomed-in images, decontextualized elements, unusual viewpoints and surreal settings shift their essence. Water becomes abstracted, planes fly vertically, birds seem sculptural, and urban scenes appear theatrical: ordinary moments reinterpreted through color and framing.
