A quiet instant in a forgotten place.
In an abandoned swimming pool, we brought back human presence in the decay of a once vibrant recreational space. The subject stands in contemplative solitude, in the direction of the shadows, elongating across the cracked blue surface, echoing the passage of time and the fleeting nature of memory. The vibrant jacket and stark light bring life to a scene dominated by abandonment, while the creeping vegetation… in the background whispers of nature reclaiming its space.
This moment is neither past nor future; it is suspended, to reflect on the fragility of the spaces we create and the stories they leave behind. It is a meditation on how we occupy our environments, and how they in turn reflect our impermanence. What stories linger in this hollow, forgotten structure, and how do they resonate with our own fleeting moments of presence?
