About this artwork
A moment of suspended calm in an abandoned place.
The peeling blue of an empty swimming pool, the rust on the ladder, the soft shadows of the trees and the wild grasses reclaiming the concrete.
I photograph these forgotten places because they carry within them a memory: that of the seasons, of bodies, of vanished presences. Here, the swimming pool becomes an interior landscape: a space where nature reappears, where time slowly settles, where the… fragility of human structures is revealed through their cracks.
The autumn light softens the scene and interacts with the textures: the pastel blue, the cracked walls, the intertwining plants. This fine art photograph combines urban aesthetics, visual poetry, and contemplation of abandoned landscapes, central themes in my practice.
It invites the viewer to feel the vibration of a place that has been left behind, but is still full of stories.
A liminal space where we perceive both what has been and and what is being reborn.

Promenade - Vincent Lecoq
France
Vincent Lecoq, an explorer guided by the poetry of changing spaces, uses photography to share his curiosities. His art is nourished by urban metamorphoses, where the visible and the invisible mingle, to denounce exclusion and question our borders. His images, tinged with freedom, identity and social justice, reveal a harmony hidden behind apparent divisions.
