Patched - curated by Rose Boutboul

A curation by Rose Boutboul, Independent Curator at - Rapiécé brings together works that explore the beauty of what is recomposed, repaired, and reconstructed. Between fragments, traces, and reworks, each piece questions what remains after the rupture. Paul Gross's chair, decomposed then reassembled into an image, becomes a metaphor for material memory. Aykaz Arzumanyan's geometric forms and Arco Bruinenberg's tiles recall the art of patchwork, where each fragment finds its place in a new whole. In Rachele De Dominicis and Denis Leclerc's work, color cracks and overlaps, like an emotion trying to hold on. Silvia Strobos and Gilles Arnould evoke human reconstruction: the courage to connect, to create despite the risk. Finally, Geraldine Haas and Rika Maja Duevel breathe new life into the sensitive, blending digital, painting, and collage. Rapiécé speaks of persistence—of the beauty born of faults, fragments, and the gesture that brings them together.
