A curation by Giulia Falcone, Founder & Director || Curator • Advisor • Critic • Mentor at ARTOVERPASS - Movement doesn't always manifest itself through displacement. Sometimes it reveals itself in stillness, in an internal tension that continues to flow even when the form appears immobile. Matter retains this silent energy, transforming staticity into a dynamic state. What appears still is actually traversed by microvariations, imperceptible shifts, forces acting beneath the surface of the visible. Stability thus becomes a temporary perception, the result of a constantly redefined equilibrium. Flow and immobility cease to oppose each other and begin to coexist as parts of the same structure. In the works collected in Static Flow, form is not conceived as a final state, but as a moment of condensation within a continuous process. A suspended presence, in which time never stops, but slows down until it becomes matter.
