A curation by Rose Boutboul, Independent Curator at - Art is an endless puzzle where each piece attempts to redefine our perception of reality. In this selection, I wanted to explore the fascinating tension between geometric order and the untamed freedom of matter. It's a journey through layers of paint, paper, and memories, where one moves seamlessly from a pristine mental landscape to an explosion of urban textures. The eye travels here through a diversity of media and techniques, all conveying the same thirst for experimentation. We encounter pyramids of color rising toward an abstract sky, complex collages where words and images collide, and dark, almost dreamlike landscapes that evoke worlds in flux. What strikes me is this constant interplay between fullness and emptiness: here, the silhouette of a kimono emerges from a jumble of Japanese motifs; there, blocks of yellow concrete seem to float above an imaginary city. Acrylic paint, sand, and India ink blend to create rugged surfaces that invite exploration like uncharted territories.
