About this artwork
I wanted to keep this painting very mono-chromatic in tone & pallet using very subtle earth tones to add a bit of flavor. The starkness and lack of color was inspired by the scorched earth images that have become s constant visual being played 24/7. This is what war does. It destroys everything in its path leaving behind a very bleak and stark reminder of what was once the very essence of man and the beauty of nature. The grey tonality is meant…
