We live in that invisible place we almost never look at. The space between what we are and what we believe ourselves to be.
Between the lived experience and the story we tell ourselves about it.
Between what we truly feel and what we show.
Between the observing consciousness and the acting character.
Today, that space is shrinking. Everything is pushing us to define ourselves quickly, to establish an identity, to become a recognizable and… shareable version of ourselves.
But in my opinion, the more we explain ourselves, the further we move away from who we are.
And little by little we confuse the map with the landscape.
This painting originated there.
In that silent crack where there is still no label.
Where we are neither image, nor profile, nor discourse.
Simply the mystery without running away.
Because perhaps the truth is not in what we say we are, but in that space where we are still learning to be.
Between the lived experience and the story we tell ourselves about it.
