About this artwork
This painting was created during a trip to the Italian province of Basilicata. It was taken from the hills, looking towards the old town center, at nightfall. In this work, I captured the gentle and mysterious essence of a village slumbering in the soft light. With geometric and semi-abstract touches, I wanted to evoke a sense of calm and nostalgia, blending impressionism and figurative forms. This painting invites contemplation, filling your space…
with a serene and meditative energy. It will be particularly well showcased in interiors with a predominantly neutral color scheme.
