About this artwork
This painting shows an impressive size of a brown wild sheep. It stands at the side in front of a kind of gate that the artist painted in black and white. The thick fur, which defines the special character of the wild sheep, was created in painstaking detail work. They prefer to live in higher regions and have been added to the red list of endangered species. The artist painted seven layers of acrylic paint on top of each other to accentuate the… thick, fluffy fur. The head of the sheep looks lifelike, the large format and the natural coloring of this work are very decorative.
