Through its rich palette and expressive brushwork, "Mauritius 2" transports observers on an immersive journey, allowing them to connect with the memories and emotions tied to vacations by the seaside.
Crafted with the skilled precision of painting knives and foam rollers, Mauritius 2 bursts forth with dynamic and energetic strokes. Swirling and dancing around the composition, these strokes imbue the… piece with a palpable sense of movement and vitality. It is as if the canvas pulsates with an enchanting and blissful energy.
It strikes a delicate balance between chaos and abundance, mirroring the untamed beauty of nature itself. Amidst the swirls and vibrant colors, there lingers a tangible aura of positivity and joy. This spirit uplifts the soul, inviting viewers to embrace the wondrous and sometimes chaotic beauty of life.
Painted on quality acid free paper made especially for painters, framed and ready to hang (check video)
« In the beginning, the mind is as blank as the canvas. Then the hands begin their dance, the heart chooses its colors, and the emotions their expression. »
Delphine Bernard is an artist based in France whose paintings have been widely exhibited in Singapore and Indonesia. She compares each of her compositions as being like a vision or a dream and characterizes her artistic process to being "shamanistic". Bernard creates intuitively, allowing her hands to "dance and play" with colors on the canvas. Her vibrant compositions are created using acrylics on canvas.
