About this artwork
He wanted to make a painting that reminded him of playing Monopoly on a rainy day with his friends. We'd all play on the porch. He painted the drops to represent the rain out side and also to represent the chance of winning a lot of money ("Making it rain") at Monopoly.
He painted the background of the frame to match the gray of the frame. The total size of the piece is 19 high and 27 inches wide. Signed and dated on the back of the painting.

Dennis Crayon is an award-winning American painter who has exhibited his works throughout the United States. In 1998, he attended a six-week architectural dig in the ancient ruins of Pompeii. The remarkably well-preserved ancient frescoes and murals would change the course of his creative journey and inspire his artistic vision. Crayon employs his background in classical painting techniques and trompe l’oeil in his oil creations.
