Stanton Park, DC - 2023 - Oil on Cradled Board –16 H x 16 W x .5 Inches and ready to hang
Stanton Park, DC
C street and 6th Northeast
On a rainy day in Washington DC, the red building was a stunning sight to behold from the car window. The rain was coming down steadily, creating a glossy reflection of the light in the roads. The scenery outside the car was picturesque, with the rain adding a soothing atmosphere and making it feel like the world… was all yours. As one drove through the park, the gentle pitter-patter of the rain created a tranquil atmosphere.

Dennis Crayon is an award-winning American painter who has exhibited his works throughout the United States. In 1998, he attended a six-week architectural dig in the ancient ruins of Pompeii. The remarkably well-preserved ancient frescoes and murals would change the course of his creative journey and inspire his artistic vision. Crayon employs his background in classical painting techniques and trompe l’oeil in his oil creations.
