About this artwork
“Vision of Experience” is a reflective and symbolic work exploring the layers of human experience, memory, and inner states. The painting reveals a visual space where emotions, memories, and fragments of perception intertwine, creating a unique map of the inner world. Through the interaction of colors, lines, and structures, the artist invites the viewer to immerse themselves in the complexity of experience and its transformation over time.
The artwork… opens a space for reflection on how personal experience shapes human identity, perception of the world, and relationship with the surrounding environment, leaving room for individual interpretation and emotional dialogue with the viewer.
Egidijus Dapsas, a Kaunas Art School graduate, majored in artistic leather and has background in blacksmithing and mural painting. His art is expressive, using abstraction, figuration, and vibrant colors paired with a variety of textures and forms, achieved through layering of paint. In exploring the fragility of existence and the tension between chaos and harmony, he strives to evoke a spectrum of feelings, reflections of the viewer's own world.
