About this artwork
This 120 × 90 cm mixed-media painting unfolds a multi-layered, almost dreamlike landscape, inspired by a walk through the Parc del Laberint d'Horta in Barcelona. Deep midnight blues and blacks form the atmospheric background against which organic forms, plant lines, and abstract points of light stand out powerfully. Golden textures and pastel accents evoke shimmering leaves, mossy patches, and the flickering light that breaks through the labyrinth's… ancient hedges.
« For me, a painting is a sensual interplay of structures, colors, and shapes, taking into account the materiality of canvas and painting medium. »
