Tight Fit is a ceramic sculpture that explores the tension between form and pressure, between presence and control. Shaped like a structured dress with a wide collar and carefully aligned buttons, it suggests a body that was once held tightly by fabric, rules, or expectations.
The piece feels as if it’s bracing itself. The surface carries both precision and friction: a tactile story of discipline, modesty, and self-containment. The absence of a figure… sharpens the impression, as though the dress itself is containing something internal, unseen but palpable.
With its solid stance and compressed form, Tight Fit invites reflection on the spaces we occupy and the forms we are asked to fill.
