About this artwork
I like to wander out into nature through vast and atmospheric landscapes and allow the elemental power emanating from them to work on me. My landscape paintings tell of this, often of the beauty of deserted, untouched nature, as is the case with the painting "fragile world". We are aware of the vulnerability of this nature to our actions and it hurts. Even though the subtle color nuances are friendly and positive despite the dramatic nature of the… shapes and nothing seems to disturb the peaceful scenery, the subtle dark traces of the gradients are intended to show the vulnerability and transience. The painting has a relaxing effect and the viewer has this scene all to themselves. They can let themselves drift, reflect and follow their thoughts. This painting is accompanied by the work "wide horizon", which was painted at the same time.
« I want to be creative and experience creativity. Therefore I paint what I feel and with great tension, I look at what surrounds me. »
Hasso Heybrock is an artist based in Germany who has exhibited his works nationally, as well as in Denmark, Italy, and Spain. He believes that looking at a painting means walking into an unknown adventure through the picture, where hidden emotions come to the surface. For Heybrock, making the adventure as intense and exciting as possible for the viewer is his main challenge as a painter.
