About this artwork
It is the time between night and day, the silent moment of transition and beginning. I experience this moment with thoughtfulness, freshness and joy and let myself drift with the fading light of the stars into the twilight of a summer morning. Even if it seems to us as if there are no colors in the darkness, they are still there. With the coming morning light we see them and we allow the diffuse structures of the developing mood to have an effect…
on us. The light is usually soft and only slowly do stronger colors and shapes develop. The mood is calm and friendly. The day's work can begin.
