About this artwork
I like to be out in nature early in the morning and enjoy these moments when the hustle and bustle of the new day begins. It is still quiet and peaceful, the darkness is slowly giving way and the diffuse morning light sets the first accents. Here in the flat coastal landscape of northern Germany, the low horizon and the high sky emphasize the impressive play of changing colors and shapes and the morning humidity in the air breaks the light of the… rising sun into beautiful, mostly pink hues. The sea breeze and the clouds stage a spectacle with tension and depth in this special light, the view is breathtakingly beautiful. "Pink horizon" tells of these moments and gives the viewer space to immerse themselves in this mood, no matter where and at what time. The painting deals with the same landscape and nature experience as the painting "pink morning", but it is in a larger format and in a panoramic view.
« I want to be creative and experience creativity. Therefore I paint what I feel and with great tension, I look at what surrounds me. »
Hasso Heybrock is an artist based in Germany who has exhibited his works nationally, as well as in Denmark, Italy, and Spain. He believes that looking at a painting means walking into an unknown adventure through the picture, where hidden emotions come to the surface. For Heybrock, making the adventure as intense and exciting as possible for the viewer is his main challenge as a painter.
