About this artwork
I bought these shoes a long time ago from an online store. I really liked them for their color and shape. But unfortunately, the width, and even the size, turned out not to be mine. But I love them so much, I love looking at them, and I dream that one day, maybe my feet will slim down a bit, and I'll be able to wear them. They have a wonderful eggplant color. They symbolize the desire to look beautiful.

I am a Vienna-based artist originally from Kyiv, Ukraine. Passionate about painting since childhood, I studied at the art school of the Teacher’s House in Kyiv. After a successful career as an economist and banker, I returned to my creative roots, working in watercolor, oil, and later acrylics.
Since moving to Austria in 2019, I have honed my skills through private lessons, courses at the Vienna Adult Education Centre (VHS), and online studies with Natalia Nosyk’s art school. My works have been exhibited and recognized in competitions. My art reflects a confident use of color, light, and composition, inspired by nature, seascapes, and still life.
