About this artwork
Rustle and Bloom #2 of 3
Inspired by autumn in the Polish countryside, Rustle and Bloom is a celebration of seasonal change and natural abundance. This vibrant triptych captures the moment when meadows burst into their final bloom, a joyful rustle of leaves, petals, and golden grasses swirling in the crisp air.
Each panel tells its own story, yet together they form a flowing composition that invites the viewer to pause, wander, and feel. Through… bold brushstrokes and layered textures, the work evokes both the chaos and harmony of nature as it prepares to rest.
A tribute to fleeting beauty, rural memory, and the quiet magic of transition.
Klaudia Sonas’s practice explores the expressive potential of color, material, and layered surfaces, creating visual spaces that move between abstraction and subtle references to nature. Working with acrylics, oils, and mixed media, she uses color as both a structural and emotional force, shaping depth, movement, and balance.
Inspired by landscapes and florals, she translates natural rhythms into a contemporary abstract language. Rather than direct representation, her work focuses on the interplay between organic forms and controlled spatial structure.
Materiality is central to her process, with layering and transparency allowing each piece to evolve intuitively. Color serves as a primary language, creating harmony, tension, and quiet intensity.
Her paintings invite slow, attentive viewing, offering contemplative spaces where abstraction and nature coexist.
