About this artwork
When the fires devastated Lahaina Maui, it felt personal. I was born and raised in Hawaii, on the Big Island. Even though I am not from the island of Maui, if felt like it could have been my small town that burned. I wanted to honor Lahaina, bring awareness, and help them in some small way.
