This work from the Silken Matter series unfolds a quiet, flowing movement – like silk gently layering itself, or like water gliding in fine lines across a surface.
Golden structures crisscross the image like fragile lines that unravel, flow downwards, and change their form. They appear both present and ephemeral, as if they were evolving in the very moment of being viewed.
The cool blue tones… lend the work a serene depth, while the vertical transitions create a gentle dynamism. A tension arises between lightness and substance, between control and the free flow of the material.
Silken Cascade invites us to understand movement not as something loud, but as a quiet, continuous becoming – soft, flowing and yet full of expression.
