About this artwork
“Kong” is a work made on request, born from a desired subject, drawn on paper, then on canvas, previously treated with white chalk. I really enjoyed making this project, contextualized in the PoP art of the 80s, the acrylic colors used are less “shocking” and softer. The canvas was then finished with a vitrifier, to accentuate the color and textures.
