This canvas is not intended to be a portrait or even a caricature; I like to define it as my own respectful interpretation of this timeless legend, Ziggy. The acrylic colors fit well with the 1970s imagery, and the gesso mixture on the large Italian cotton canvas lends the "materiality" that,… in my opinion, this interpretation required.
