About this artwork
The subject of the picture are some sheets hanging in the air and in the sun on a long thread. The wind draws a thousand folds on the fabrics which nevertheless appear heavy and woody. Nothing is described of the context because the wood of the support also becomes the subject of the picture thanks to the material characteristics of the wood grain. a wooden box treated with shellac dissolved in alcohol, square in shape equal to 26x26 cm but 13 cm thick and also painted on the sides, on the right and on the left. The rigor of this minimalist and very contemporary work is warmed by the amber color of the wood.
