About this artwork
The work, part of the Softheart cycle, is related to the exhibition held in 2011 in Rome at the Santa Rita museum complex, with a catalogue edited by Francesco Gallo. The work is unpublished and is enclosed in a plexiglass case and mounted on a spring so that the heart can move (beat) at every push.
The work is created using the technique of wooden interlocking pieces, sanded, colored and then polished.
