About this artwork
This work belongs to the Fragments series. It explores the human form through fragmentation and reconstruction. The central female figure, composed of interlocking geometric shapes and a 3D collage, comes alive through the texture and depth created by this technique. The use of shades of red and ochre brings an intense warmth to the work.
The figure's posture, with raised hands, suggests several interpretations: a gesture of protection, an opening… to the world, or even an attempt to communicate beyond the surface of the canvas.
