About this artwork
Freedom, oil on canvas 58x43x1.5 cm / 1968
As a young artist, at the beginning of my art school in 1968, I wanted to capture this image I observed from my window: nature and the birds flying with tremendous freedom. So I transferred this painting to canvas and experimented with the moment that had impressed me, capturing it on canvas in my own way, a style that continues to guide me to this day on a path of new futurism.
In this work, I captured… the dynamic fusion of abstraction and figuration in oil. The intertwined lines symbolize the path to freedom, while the birds in the center embody hope and new beginnings. The futuristic elements invite us to contemplate new horizons. This painting brings vibrant energy and a powerful aura to any room.
