About this artwork
Mudra sculpture is a reflection of the complex interplay between abstract constructivism aesthetics and spiritual art. Mudras are hand positions used in meditation that help us connect with ourselves. These mudra positions serve as inspiration for this sculpture in which I confront the viewer with curves that transform into shadows and that show our light and our shadow, our Yin and our Yan. They create an open and closed space as if it were a temple.
