About this artwork
In my sculpture, I used the soft, organic play of forms to celebrate the connection to nature and the beauty of imperfection. Sculpted from wood, each detail expresses its own story—from gentle curves to deep structures. I'm fascinated by the raw, seemingly unfinished, as expressed in sculpture influenced by Zen Buddhism. I'm reminded of a saying by Lao Tzu: "Perfection often appears full of cracks, but it remains intact in use."
