About this artwork
Two pieces interlock to form a single work. I sewed both from sturdy Czech linen. The rear element consists of strips fixed only at the edges, allowing them to hang freely. Gravity immediately alters their shape. The front element is a frame open at the sides, causing the strips to drape downwards. They can be arranged as desired. The frame is held in place by internal aluminum rods.
