About this artwork
In an age when only light and darkness whispered to one another, three colossal pillars rose from the depths of the universe. These were ancient “cosmic towers,” stretching thousands of light-years.
At the very peak of the largest pillar, a spark awakened.
Blue and white lights began to merge, like the artist’s energetic brushstrokes laid onto the canvas. The heart of the pillar started to pulse like the heartbeat of a giant living being. Then… came the great moment. The light that had been imprisoned for millions of years tore through the blue walls of the pillars and cried out for the first time.
In that instant, a star was born.
Like lightning flashing one after another, new lights began to burst from every corner of the pillars. The Cosmic Towers were no longer just dark columns of dust; they had transformed into the most magnificent, radiant chandeliers of the universe, filled with stars.

Rezan Ozger is a Turkish painter living in New Jersey. After a successful legal career, she dedicated her life to painting. She has worked with renowned artists and received training in drawing, composition, color, and oil painting techniques. Ozger believes that life is a continuous movement from the micro-universe to the macro-universe, but that we can only capture moments. Her portraits, horses, cosmological studies, and others all reflect these captured moments. Between 2004 and 2020, Ozger held 25 solo and many group exhibitions in Turkey.
