STATIK II – Compression Field is the second work in the STATIK series and marks a state of maximum compression.
Layer by layer, a structure is created that not only makes tension visible but also stores it within itself.
The surface appears closed and calm, almost compact.
But beneath this apparent stability lies a latent movement – a state of tension that eludes direct access.
The composition refuses a clear resolution.
What initially appears… static reveals itself as a system of bound tension.
A work poised between control and inner compression.

While in STATIK movement is increasingly bound and brought into equilibrium, this development intensifies in HALTEZUSTAT:
Tension is no longer depicted, but rather maintained within the image space.
The reduced visual language uses material, layering and surface functionally – as carriers of energy.
The works explore the moment before movement: energy in balance, without being discharged.
