About this artwork
The mystic powers of the character Phantom were fascinating to me as a child reading his comic books. Combined with the transformative powers of the Autobots (the "good guys" in the animated series Transformers) serve as a platform for the narrative of this painting. The different areas in the composition are aligned as cinematic strips, one on top of another, to reveal part of the transformation process of the Transformers. Shapes created using…
the unmistakable Phantom's purple disguise complement such areas to emphasize the "collaboration" of both characters in a highly energetic way.
