About this artwork
"Gabriel" spreads his wings and in the air resounds the announcement of the beginning and the end.
Subjected to the echo of his horn, some come together while others split up.
It is the Trinity that sends him and it is she that he brings.
Samuel Salel expresses himself through acrylic paint, Indian ink, ballpoint pen illustration, and living mineral painting, drawing on a rich training and an eclectic career spanning graphic design and art schools. He combines abstraction, surrealism, and figuration, multiplying universes and sometimes merging several techniques in a single work. He explores the themes of existence, alchemy, and imaginary mythologies, infusing his creations with a poetic tension between chaos and construction, each time revealing the enigmatic beauty of organic processes and happy accidents.
