About this artwork
In this work used as a brand by the author and called the next one, Sarrés invites us to reflect if, whether by chance or by destiny, our existence is due to something or someone suggesting us for this complex game of Earthly life.
This complexity of life, Sarrés, has wanted to interpret in the form of a network of branches and/or plant forms, which, intertwined with each other, give shape to that look on which our fragile existence depends.
Sarrés, who comes from various schools of fine arts, masters drawing and painting with such mastery. This artist displays a unique style, full of self-discovery and inspiration, perfecting techniques throughout his career alongside various renowned sculptors and painters. The emotions Sarrés conveys through his works are intimate reflections of his deepest thoughts. Behind his work there is always that comparison between the characteristics, thoughts and actions of the human race and the nature that surrounds us, enveloping each of his brushstrokes with that plant world so characteristic of all his paintings and sculptures. Focusing primarily on oil painting, he has also created numerous sculptural works, although it is undoubtedly oil painting that allows him to most comfortably and accurately express all his emotions, ideas, and thoughts.
