Thor is the second energy portrait from my encounter with the series "Ragnarök".
Thor is a young god who learns to use his power.
In this artwork I used oil pastels on paper to create a profound emotional experience. The figurative representation, dynamic and direct, explores human nature in its rawest form. Earth tones and powerful use of line express a strong emotional connection and challenge the viewer to explore the emotional range of human… experience. This image brings a captivating energy to any room and encourages young men to embrace their power.
At the vernissage in Maine there was a man in his 30s who, without knowing the history of the painting, particularly identified with this figure.
