About this artwork
Inspired by the Merzbau of Kurt Schwitters, I crafted this heart-shaped sculpture using light and the whiteness of more than seventy pieces of prepared card to create a minimalistic sculpture that is animated by light and dark. The work creates a layered complexity where every jagged overlapping piece reflects the beauty of time itself, inviting light to dance through and reveal depth beneath the surface.
This work will energize any space with a… powerful yet fragile presence, reminding us of resilience and the intricate nature of love as well as our love of the planet in it use of materials.
This is a dynamic work, maturing through the seasons and responding to light on a daily basis, it is created to capture your attention and to enrich your world,

With environment at the heart of her practice, she uses a range of experimental processes to create her own personal iconography.
