In this work, I wanted to capture the soul of each season through portraits of women imbued with both gentleness and strength. The natural materials and collage techniques create a vibrant texture, evoking the ever-changing nature of the world. Each face expresses a unique emotion, inviting us to experience the eternal cycle of life. This painting will bring a vibrant and harmonious energy to your home, evoking beauty and renewal.
This painting… represents the four seasons with their attributes. In my native language, the words for winter, spring, summer, and autumn are feminine. So, for me, it was obvious to represent them as women. In my Ukrainian folk culture, young women wear crowns of flowers or leaves. I find it very beautiful! The circle in the center of the painting represents a year and the eternal changing of the seasons.
