About this artwork
In this work, I use luminous, transparent layers of color that overlap like energetic fields. The vertical bands in yellow, green, turquoise, pink, and orange give the painting a clear structure—for me, they are like supporting pillars that provide stability and direction.
Above this, I place softly rounded shapes reminiscent of silhouettes. They represent encounters, closeness, and the intermingling of energies. The transparency creates new color… spaces – where pink and yellow overlap, a glowing effect emerges.
The cool turquoise on the right is a deliberate choice. It brings calm to the composition, a meditative counterpoint to the warm, vibrant center. The visible traces of my paint application remain – I want the creative process to be palpable, for movement and time to be inscribed in the image.
For me, this work is a space of light and color.
My work moves between an intuitive process and a clearly defined conceptual framework.
In the Zenpolychromos series, I explore color as an energetic field in which feeling, consciousness, and structure merge. Color determines the rhythm of my painting; its energy opens a space between movement and stillness. Through layering, fragmentation, and gestural placements, a dialogue emerges between presence and emotion. Each work is an act of listening—a process in which color becomes vibration and perception translates into form.
In the collage series Fragmented Being, I explore identity as something incomplete. Figures, urban spaces, and pictorial elements are detached from their original context and reassembled. I understand the fragment not as a loss, but as a space of possibility in which perception, memory, and inner experience overlap.
