Trust is the work where everything began.
Painted in 2015, before the international exhibitions and awards that followed, it already contains the essential language of the practice: the female figure as symbolic vessel, geometry as structure, and stillness as a condition rather than a mood. Looking at it now, the vocabulary is all there — fully formed, quietly waiting to unfold.
The work reflects on trust as a foundational instinct — the certainty… with which a newborn enters the world, relying fully on the mother and on life itself. That state of unconditional openness is not naïve. It is the most precise alignment with existence we ever experience — and the one we spend the rest of our lives trying to find again.
A large-scale original work — 100×100 cm, acrylic on canvas — that marks the point of origin of an artist now exhibited internationally, including at the Florence Biennale. One of a kind. Framed, ready to hang, with a certificate of authenticity.
