Was a Dancer, Swimmer, Mountain climber, Actress, Film Director, Photographer and scuba diver. She was one of the strongest multi-talented women of the 20th century.
She won many international awards during her stormy life. Obsessed with the conquest to document the human beauty from Germany mountains to the African savanna.
She survived two world wars, the influence by the German Nazi regime, and several air crashes… and car crashes. She was to become 101 years old before she closed her sharp eyes. I was supposed to meet her at the Book fair in Frankfurt when she did not come as she was sick. I have made several artworks celebrating this remarkable strong woman artist. Thomas .
