This work shows almost an explosion of flowers, which is colorful and yet very pastel! The artist used her preferred color palette, but the colors in the foreground have been neutralized with a lot of white gesso or acrylic paint, making them much lighter. Depth is created by the different layers that the artist has applied in different shades, dark at the bottom and increasingly lighter in the foreground.
