A wonderfully harmonious and yet moving work. You can almost see the paint running across the canvas! The artist has created a seemingly simple yet complex work that is all about fluid and flowing paint. Many mixed metallic colors, which are applied and drawn in different layers over and over again with pipettes and thus merge into other colors, or result in unique structures that are almost reminiscent of batik, sometimes worked wet-on-wet, sometimes…
for a long time Drying times give the artist the opportunity to vary again and again, to look, to apply again, to rotate, again and again, until the entire picture has achieved a depth, composition and quality with which she can be satisfied. When does she know when the work is finished? When nothing more could improve the picture. It's a wonderful combination of intent and chance.
