This painting was created after a trip to the granite coasts in Brittany.
This abstract representation of a Brittany coastal landscape shows a wealth of colors, textures, compositions and shapes. Painting techniques and working methods, partly random, partly planned, reveal two directions, the painterly tendency and the geometric direction. However, it is easy to see that abstraction has gradually produced a completely independent visual language.… The targeted coloring and striking contrasts have a significant influence on harmony and effect. The depiction blurs the boundaries between reality and fantasy. This original work of art shows the viewer a fascinating combination of multi-layered compositions, colors and structures that merge and inspire one another. The painting is framed with a wooden handcoloured shadow gap picture frame.
