The work "Oblivion" is part of the series "Faces that disappear", which explores the theme of loss, memory, the dissolution of individuality and at the same time, a deep inner presence.
This portrait seems to appear out of the void, losing its outlines and details in order to remain an elusive sensation. A face without expression, without a look — it does not require an answer, but speaks the language of silence. The colour palette is based on a… sharp contrast — the dense, dark background and the light surface of the face, turning into saturated pink and muted purple shades, create an almost theatrical scene of privacy.
This work is about personal silence, about inner images that cannot be accurately remembered, but it is also impossible to forget.
