A curation by Charles Caldecott, Art Curator at Period of Grace - The isolation of the human being in life and how nature can heal. This a somewhat sadder and more intellectual curation, looking at loss and hurt and how life can be so fragile. Boes' self portrait is truly in her head and shows how the cells of the mind can so easily fragment/dissolve/fly of there is anguish or simply too much thought. We are all truly 'Wanderers of the Meadow', as in the work by Fuchs. Van Gogh sums up this feeling in Gordon Bruce's work. We are all humans doing our best and it is wonderful when we see art that can portray these vulnerabilities so eloquently and help us to heal. This collection does that.
