Kambani Ramano

Based in Tokyo, Kambani Ramano is a photographic artist in awe of the human spirit and of the natural world. He draws inspiration from the ukiyo-e print masters of Edo Japan, the magical realists of literary fiction, and the many significant movements and figures that Impressionism brought forth. Sitting at the threshold of the photograph and the painterly arts, his work is an ongoing exploration of the art of photography, and of photography as art.
