My painting is born from a single urgency: to preserve what is at risk of disappearing.
I start from real places, concrete emotional connections, and lived moments. When I transpose them onto the canvas, something transforms them. A sky becomes skin. A body takes on a blue hue.
This is not a stylistic choice: it is the painting that reveals to me that these moments contain much more than the eye can perceive.
Through the pictorial gesture, I preserve what must not be lost: dignity, freedom, purity.
For me, colour is an act of resistance — against dispersion, against the system.
This is why oil and acrylic, pastel and gold leaf, realism and symbolism coexist in my works. It is not a contradiction: it is the most sincere language I have found to express what I wish to say.
The act of preserving then becomes a revolution: disobeying in order to live, rather than simply existing.
